FBJO Releases 2nd Album! "Live In Chicago!"

The band is celebrating this new release AND our 5th year anniversary with a three night run at Andy's Jazz Club in Chicago! Performances are nightly at 9:30 and 11:00pm. Swing on by! We will be having a blast!

Newer Sounds Celebrates 1 Year of Music!

New York, NY - New York guitarist, producer, entrepreneur, (and most importantly, close friend) Aleksi Glick has been producing concerts on a monthly basis in the upper west side of Manhattan for a whole year, all under the title of "Newer Sounds." The exciting concerts have brought much of the poppin' downtown music scene uptown to where much of the music community lives. The Fatum's feel so lucky to have recently begun helping Aleksi with Newer Sounds concerts, and had an amazing time on Saturday at the Newer Sounds 1 Year Anniversary Festival! The festival featured six NYC bands, including The Bailen Brothers and EMEFE, and was packed with very happy people! Year two will promise to be even better, and will also bring in the debut of a Newer Sounds Jazz series, starting in the spring. Stay tuned! 

Fatum Brothers to make Miami Debut!

1/31/13 - The Fatum Brothers' will be in Miami, Florida this February and are excited to be making their Miami performance debut! They will be performing with a fantastic quintet featuring Jake Shapiro on piano as well as the talented Deen Anbar from New York CIty on guitar. The performance will be taking place at the beautiful (and brand new) Ave. D Jazz & Blues Club in downtown Miami, and they will be sharing a bill that evening with Brian Lynch's Miami Frost School of Music Student Ensemble! 1/31/12 - The Fatum Brothers' Jazz Orchestra will be reconvening in Chicago to celebrate the release of their new album as well as the band's 5th year anniversary!! The 15 piece big band has officially been slotted to perform in a special three night run at Andy's Jazz Club from May 9th - 11th. Fatum Brothers' Trio continues in NYC

1/31/12 - Last night's performance Antibes Bistro in Manhattan was the beginning of another year of many performances by the Fatum Brothers' Trio at some of NYC's top restaurants, hotels, and lounges. Bassist Michael Harlen has been joining John & Michael Fatum for all of these performances, and the three of them are excited about the musical growth that they have been achieving! Check back on the "TOUR," tab of this web-site to see when the Trio will be performing next at the Lambs Club, Harlem Tavern, Blue Moon Cafe, or Antibes Bistro! 

Michael returns from successful EMEFE Tour...

 1/30/13 - Michael just returned to New York City after an incredible two week long tour with EMEFE from NYC down to Florida, over to New Orleans, and back. The band was welcomed by several SOLD OUT audiences, and made countless new friends and fans. You can relive some of the excitement on the EMEFE facebook page.
